@TeamYouTube How do I deal with videos taken down for privacy complaints? I couldn't respond in the 48 hr timeframe and I want to edit them.
While we can't share specifics, what you can do is to make the content as unique as possible and make sure it doesn't violate our Community Guidelines. Check out these best practices here: https://yt.be/help/AeP5

It’s one second of footage that was reported, do I have to reupload it without that part or can I edit the current version after it’s been removed?
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

The videos still show up in my video manager but they can’t be edited. Is there another way to edit out the content that violated privacy without having to reupload the video? Or is there a way to dispute privacy reports?

You have an option to blur parts of the video that caused the complaint. However, that feature is not available if you are using YouTube Studio Beta. Try reverting to classic then edit your video. If it still didn't work, send a screenshot. More info here: https://yt.be/help/Q1CH
