Hi @TeamYouTube, I never approved these translations and someone is promoting their website in my descriptions, is there any way i can reverse this?https://twitter.com/greenhawk_99/status/1167423861039751168 …
You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
While in theory, this is AMAZING, there are massive flaws. Primarily, content creators have no time to confirm every caption. Second, content creators can't be sure about translated captions (for the most part). Ideally: Let content creators select VIPs to confirm captions.
Just another point of contention. Are there really no notifications of uploaded captions to the creator's YT account (not necessarily email)? Creators need to check EVERY video to see if captions exist? And no NOTICE of this change? It just -happened- 12 hours ago without a word.
How can you ensure that every uploader have time and the ability of language to review the community contributions ? Many of uploader are famous, and they are busy so that they have lots of works, how can they have time to review the community contributions ?
Then, the thing youtube's managers need to do is to optimization the report feature for users, isn't it ? Don't put everything and EVERY WORK to uploaders.
Having notifications would be a life saver!
Dear TeamYouTube It should not have spam on YouTube. I understand that. However, the creator can cancel it. I'm in trouble because I can't put multilingual subtitles. Can you restore the settings to the previous settings?
So... how do this do any good to creators that 1) Don't interact that much with their audience 2) That only speak their mother language ??? You are now going to assign a translator to every channel on YT?
Can't you guys just add that as an option instead of making it the default?
Subtitles: Public (anyone can add and approve), Moderated (must be approved by channel owner) or Disabled.
From the sentence “creators that have turned on this feature”, it seems like there are options about whether sub can be published without creators’ permission. I searched for more detail but didn’t find any info. Can you please announce the details of the new changes you made?
