When i go to claim a new URL, it still gives me my old channel name for the /c/. Is there anyway i can change it?

You can now remove your own custom URL if you go to http://AboutMe.google.com . See more information in our Help Center we sent earlier. After you remove it, you will be able to claim a new custom URL.

I'm doing that, but when i go to claim a new URL, it doesn't give me the choice to chose what the /c/ is. It's default set to BigBobMinecraft when my channel is BigNan Games

To confirm, were you not able to claim the new URL because it's not giving you the option to choose, or were you able to claim it but it still doesn't show the change? Note that it normally takes a couple of days for the previous URL to deactivate.

I deactivated the old account about a year ago. And that removed the URL. But when I go to make a new one, it doesn’t give me the option to change the name on the end of it. It just gives me the old one

Seems that 'BigBobMinecraft' is still associated w/ your channel. You need to remove it first before you're able to choose a new custom URL. Sign in to YT > About me> Select the acct w/ your channel > Sites> Edit. Next to the URL you want to remove, click X> OK. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the screenshot. On About Me page, you can find your current custom URL under "Sites" and click Edit, then next to the URL, click X then OK. Note that you can only remove a custom URL for your channel up to 3 times per year. Let me know if this works.

Hmm, if you're trying to change a custom URL, you actually cannot do so after it's been created. If you're part of YPP, it may be worth reaching out to the Creator Support team, just in case they can help with this: https://yt.be/help/partners If it's something else, let us know!
