Hey @TeamYouTube I understand that YT can take a while to render all the resolutions of a video, but I uploaded this 1080p video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ-19_ymgcw … 6 hours ago, the file was only 362MB, and it still only appears at 360p.

Higher resolution videos, like 4K or 1080p, take longer to both upload and process. Most of the processing should happen in the background after your upload is finished, and can sometimes take 8 hours or more, depending on your file size. Learn more: https://yt.be/help/mqko

I’ve had the same problem where I upload a 4K video after 6 hours and a week later and it’s only 1080p

YouTube may adjust the video quality to help improve viewing conditions – for example when there’s a slower internet condition. You can still change it yourself from the menu (settings) then select quality: https://yt.be/help/JXPZ
