So @YouTube's copyright claim system is broken. It assumes that the person making a claim is in the right. I just had a music claim made against a video of mine from 2012 - which I purchased music rights for. However the system assumes I've done something wrong. So messed up!
That sounds like a Content ID claim, we understand that it can hit licensed uses. That's why we created a process for uploaders to dispute claims. In some cases, you can even monetize during disputes: https://yt.be/help/LKJN

Yes but once again the system assumes the creator is in the wrong because someone made a Content ID claim without any regard to whether the music was licensed etc. I have a copy of the licence I was issued but there's no easy way to tell your ID system that we have the rights.
