If your channel is already connected to your Gmail account you can keep it that way, or use a diff Gmail. More here: https://yt.be/help/KHjM . Reminder: we can't guarantee that the custom URL will be retained. Hope this helps!

If your want to convert your channel to a Brand Account, your custom URL will not be moved to your new channel. You can refer to the links provided on the previous tweets for more info. Thanks!
