A policy preventing Copyright owners from making $ on manual claims for:
Short song clips (ex: 5 sec of a song)
Unintentional audio (ex:
from passing cars)
Claimants can still block monetization or the video itself, but timestamps help you edit out the claim.

Ah, yes. A great explainer video, created by someone else and used by YOU for your commercial product.

Loved that video explaining fair use. I currently have multiple videos demonetized for using tiny clips to help me illustrate my points. How can I appeal this without risking them doubling down and striking my channel if you guys wash your hands of the situation completely?

(This is not an official reply) You’ll need to edit out the parts of the video in YouTube’s dashboard. If your video has 100,000 views or more, you can only edit out the segments if you are a part of the YouTube Partner Program.

If I get a copyright notification is that generated by you (YouTube) or the company that actually holds the copyright? I don't have control of the music playing in the background of a business I'm interviewing.
