@YouTube I’m having a problem getting Restricted Mode off on my iPhone youtube app. Now on my laptop the Restricted Mode is off but I would like to have it off on my phone. I don’t have a network administrator so I don’t know why it keeps blocking on the youtube app on my phone.

Mind sharing us a screenshot and elaborating on what happens exactly when you try to turn off Restricted Mode? You can also try to reinstall the YouTube app and rebooting your device. More here: https://yt.be/help/xC1z . Let us know how it goes!

(That other pic was taken at 11am this morning). Now this pic I have here know says that it’s off on my app on my phone but if I go to a normal video (I don’t watch anything Restricted) the comments say “Restricted Mode disabled comments”pic.twitter.com/sLPsfYDq8e

That's odd, getting the Restricted mode turned on automatically happens if you're connected to a school, office, or a private WiFi network. Have you tried switching to mobile data when the error comes up? If the problem persists, send feedback here: https://yt.be/help/feedback

We don’t have a private WiFi network. It’s trough Xfinity and I’ve only gotten this one time before. I just don’t understand why it’s off on my laptop (which is connected to the Xfinity WiFi box) and my phone has it on. I’ve tried deleting the app and then reinstalled it.
