My first #demonetized video for absolutely no reason at all, thanks @YouTube!

I was supposed to upload a video today, but YouTube has demonetized/limited ads on it unfortunately. I really have no idea why. I get very little ad revenue as it is since my channel is small, but it's annoying because there's nothing violent/profane/inappropriate about my video.

Also, the issue is not the money. When a video gets demonetized, YouTube stops pushing the video to the homepage or to suggested videos, which means basically no one will see it except for some of my subscribers

Our automated system scans regularly and can make mistakes but it learns/improves with each manual review. If you haven't already, please appeal your latest video for monetization. Let us know if you need any further help.

I did and it automatically became monetized again. Is that temporary until someone looks at it again or is it safe to make my video public?

Once the status is confirmed by manual review, it won't change again. For future uploads, upload as unlisted or private—you can still request a review and we'll review the video before you publish it. Hope this clarifies.
