@googlechrome 74.0 on macOS triggers a play/pause action every time my audio output switches. So every single time I put my AirPods in their case or switch them to my phone, my @youtubemusic tab starts PLAYING again. Out loud. Through internal speakers. Plz to fix!
That doesn't seem right. Could you check if the app is running on its latest version? Also, try clearing cache/cookies and restarting the app. Note: this might delete the offline data. Let us know if that fixes things.

The following will repro 100% of the time. 1) Be on macOS 10.14.5, 2) be listening to
@youtubemusic in@googlechrome 74.0.3729.169, 3) remove#airpods2 from my ears, 4) music pauses, 5) place AirPods into their case, 6) music is now playing again through my speakers. Not fun. -
Disabling hardware media key integration in Chrome solves the issue, but leaves me control-less :/
