I did some research and found that no one involved in this claim actually owns the content that is being claimed. Plus, the song they claimed as their own is actually music from the anime InuYasha. Sony shouldn't be able to claim this, but they have.
YouTube didn’t claim your video and can’t mediate your copyright dispute with the company that did. If you believe that a Content ID claim on your video was made in error, you can dispute it. Hope this helps.
I do not have ads on my content, but this feels like a really odd occurrence. I also have reviewed the footage and found that the source song is not played in the video at any point. If the video needs to be removed, I will comply. I just feel that this is very strange.
