@TeamYouTube PLEASE HELP! My top ranking video got a content ID match and is blocked in many countries. If I remove the part that matched and re-upload, will that be ok? Or could the system flag a different part of the new video as well? THX!
If you're able to remove the claimed content, the restrictions that come with it will also be removed. Also, you may want to take a look at our Help Center article to know how Content ID claims works: https://yt.be/help/wBKq . Hope this helps clarify.

Right. And I have researched quite a bit, but am still unsure if the content ID system always matches every part of a video that may be problematic (e.g. from 5:00 - 6:28). Does that mean by doing a new version without that one portion, we'd be ok?
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I removed the ID matched portion and it fully processed. When will the restrictions be removed? Thank you!

Thanks for letting us know. After the processing completes, it may take up to 24 hours for the claim to be removed. Hope this helps clarify.
