@TeamYouTube Why does YouTube automatically subscribe to channels for me?
I recently removed a lot of channels from my subscriptions and found a lot of new ones a day after, including channels I never ever had subscribed to. What's going on?

This is related to a recent YouTube Gaming subscription update. If you were subscribed to channels in the Gaming app, they’ll automatically move to your YouTube subs feed on May 14th. Learn more here: http://yt.be/help/yRe4

I was not. These were indeed gaming channels, but either channels I had unsubscribed from in the past or have never even visited. It is my understanding, that YouTube can automatically add channels to my subscriptions without my knowledge, because it deems them "for me".

Appreciate the info. Can you share your channel URL with us, as well as the URL for the channel showing up in your Subs feed? We'll pass this along. Thanks!
