@TeamYouTube my channel was reviewed and found not eligible for monetization. I can now re-apply, but because you're not told the/any of the actual reasons your channel was dinged, I don't know what video(s) to private in order to get monetization status back

Thanks for reaching out. Mind sharing a screenshot of your channel's monetization page: https://yt.be/help/v9Zf ? To confirm, were you monetized earlier or is it the first time you applied and got rejected? Let us know.

I was monetized for two years before it was revoked. There are 3 videos that I would consider not enough of a change in meaning (fair use); https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu-nJ3DUpqw&t=1s …, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unK9uJyTNdY …, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ui09k7WZ6s&t=1s …. I will private these videos. Will that be enough?pic.twitter.com/9olMGvYi8b

While we can't share specifics regarding the time frame, we suggest looking at our YPP policies to make sure your content complies with our guidelines. Learn more here: https://yt.be/help/sjjY . Hope this helps clarify.

Obviously, I have read the YouTube policies before, the reason I am hesitant is because it can take up to two months per attempt to remonetize a channel. If I were to go one by one privating videos to see what you count as too much per copyrighted clip.

Hmm, we've passed this along to our review team to take another look. We'll share an update once we know more.
