Anyone else having issues uploading a custom thumbnail to youtube? I always get "Unexpected end of Json input" as of late.
Regardless of image size or filetype.

We'd like to help. To confirm, have you tried clearing the browser's cache and cookies: https://yt.be/help/Cko1 ? Also, try uploading the thumbnail using a different browser/Incognito mode to see if that fixes the issue. Let us know how it goes.

hey hey, thanks for the help. this actually started after clearing cache & cookies now I think of it. chrome's Incognito gives the same error. Adding the thumbnail trough Edit video after publishing does work. FireFox does allow me to upload a thumbnail without the json error.

Well, fixed isn't the right word as there is an issue with Chrome and uploading thumbnails on initial submissions for me. Any idea why that json error could occur?

Since, you're on Chrome, unchecking "block third party cookies" in the browser settings usually resolves this issue. Let us know if it happens again.
