Hey @YouTube.
Why am I receiving abc news content (or worse, CNN) after watching a @Timcast or @onSubverse video?
When and why did you change the algorithm?

Hi Jim. Recommendations are influenced by various factors. You can remove recommended videos by selecting "Not interested" on your homepage. Also, here's more info on how to manage your recommendation: https://yt.be/help/gQEj . Hope this helps.

Nope. Doesn't help. Not even my issue. I play a video from Subverse, auto play next video, but the recommended video is something from CNN or some such. I want good reporting. Not someone who got it wrong for 2 plus years. Also, I want relevant, not completely different.

Appreciate the additional info. If you haven't already, you can tap the 3 dots under the video > Tap 'Not interested' > Tell us why > I have already watched this video. Also, mind following us so that we can share next steps over DM? Let us know once you have.

Followed. Also it never gives the option for why in the android app. One other thing that just happened: I hit not interested on the video at the top on the photo I shared, and it still played next. Pretty sure that should not have happened.
