@YouTube has changed something about how ads work, in the last 48 hours, and the experience is terrible. Massive pauses before/after ads play. No sign of the skip button anywhere. Not even on that 6 minute mid-video ad.

Just had a pre-video ad just fail, leaving me at the "an error has occurred" screen with the moving static background until I refreshed the page. Fix your stuff

That's odd! What device are you on? If you're on a browser, try clearing the cache and cookies. If you're on a mobile device, try these steps: delete the app > restart your device > reinstall the app. This usually clears things up but let us know if it's still not working.

Appreciate the efforts. If you haven't already, try resetting the browser and also make sure it's updated to the latest version. Could you try disconnecting and reconnecting internet? If you're using a Wi-Fi network, restarting the router often fixes such issues.
