@YouTube My channel has been demonetized for over a month. Adverts are still showing on videos with no copyright claim against them. Where is that money going? If I can't monetize the channel then why can YouTube still run ads and take money?

Thanks for reaching out. If your videos has content ID claim/match, copyright owners can choose to monetize/block their content on certain devices. Explained in detail here: https://yt.be/help/oLtu . Hope this helps clarify..

As I explained in my initial message, there is no content or copyright claim against these videos and yet you are still running ads on them. If my channel is not monetized then what happens to this revenue?

They are running ads for themselves on them.

That's exactly what it seems like. Ads at the beginning & end of these videos which are demonetized and have no content match or copyright claim against them. Question is, is this a glitch or greedy corruption on
