super regret getting my parents Youtube TV for their regular TV channels over any other paid TV app. apparently after some amount of time it forces limited access and requires them to confirm their location and logs the TV out. I'm like 50 texts in now trying to resolve this

It’s not a family account. And it’s not shared. It’s their own single google account. Anyways i got it working. Cancelled iTunes subscription, had them log out of YouTube TV app, log in again, start new sub/trial with the account natively, then link tv again. Huge pita :(
