@YouTube @TeamYouTube why is my youtube app on android only allowed to go up to 720p resolution? There is not even an option to use 1080p.

That doesn't seem right. Does this happen with certain videos or all? Also, try switching to an alternate Internet connection to see if that makes any difference. Keep us posted.

This happens with every video, it doesn't matter if I'm on WiFi or data. It has been like this for quite some time now.

Seeing as it is a built in app I can only disable then enable it. It didn't do anything I can still only play up to 720p on videos
