You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
The scammers are usually only using popular YouTuber's so just make sure the YouTuber's name has the check mark
Just remove your messaging feature. There is no reason at all except to aid scams.
There still will be scammers in the comments, but that messaging feature is kind of useless.

I had one of these accounts contact and pretend to be @dannygonzalez but I checked the channel and I instantly blocked it
