@TeamYouTube I think my channel isn't being promoted as well as others on the platform are. I'm running Google Ads on my channel trailer, however I lose subs immediately when I stop, losing over 150 subscribers in the span of a month when I stopped. Could you look into it please?

While we can't share specifics, it's normal to see fluctuations in your subscriber count. This is because we want to make sure the numbers are 100% accurate, so we perform additional verification & spam reviews. Also, it's likely folks are subscribing and unsubscribing as well.

Thanks for replying! The issue is that I am not gaining organic subscribers without running ads. When I run the ads, I get subscribers just fine, but I get little to none without it. I think something is going on between the ads and my channel that is not promoting me normally.

You're welcome. Monetization doesn't effect how your channel is promoted. Also, here's one article from Creator Academy that specifically goes over techniques for growing your audience: https://goo.gl/jck1Hk . Hope this helps.

Thanks again for your reply! I am not talking about monetization though. I am talking about promoting my channel trailer through paid Google Ads on YouTube. Being an advertisement, it does not have much interaction compared to my normal videos. Could this be affecting anything?
