@TeamYouTube Why can't I keep my custom url to go to a branded channel? My custom url is my name. You want me to have a BRANDED channel with a web address like "http://YouTube.com/6ghsirbghn69b9n "? What the hell? Why do I have to change it?
Thanks for reaching out. To clarify, this is working as intended. By moving your channel to a Brand Account you'll lose the custom URL. Learn more about this here: https://goo.gl/Q3FaEj . Hope this helps.

That makes absolutely no sense. As an artist, being able to type YouTube. Com/artistname and get the channel you're looking for makes much more sense than YouTube. Com/gdjevhz57hu7j7. That article doesn't explain why we lose the url. Is is because multiple people can manage?

That doesn't make sense. You don't have to change the url to grant others access. It's fine. I'll leave it the way it is. I'd rather people find me than have it branded.
