@YTCreators I'm trying to claim a URL for a second account, it doesn't exist on the site, no user with that name, and yet it won't let me do it (not a rude word etc. etc.) - Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out. Are you getting an error message while claiming a custom URL? If yes, share the screenshot and we'll look into it.

Hi - no error message, simply tells me it is unavailable and requests I add extra characters - however there is no channel currently using that URL

Thanks for confirming. To clarify, custom URL are reserved for every channel. See the Custom URL terms and Help Center for more info: https://goo.gl/ruFcXC . Hope this clarifies.

Ah so it might be an old account before the new naming system was implemented? Would you be able to check if this is the case? I was hoping to get /AfterShock for my company - thanks for the information though!

Unfortunately, we wouldn't be able to check it or access your account on our end for security reasons.
