@TeamYouTube In a sea of what seems to be endless hours of video content, why am I recommended stuff I have watched already on the same account that I have watched it on? Are you really trying to tell me that there is nothing else to see but the stuff I have already watched? help

Content on YouTube is recommended to you based on various factors. You can remove recommended content by selecting "Not interested" on your home page. This will influence how YouTube suggests videos to you in the future. Learn more here: https://goo.gl/mfD7rf . Hope this helps.

I have. I just end up with even more stuff I have watched. It's like an endless loop of stuff I have watched. I have to choose the "I am not interested in this channel" in order to stop receiving recommendations and possibly finding something new to watch.

The problem here though is that I am interested in that channel and this keeps me from being recommended anything new from that channel. Is this really the only solution?

Hmm, what device are you on? Does this happen across devices? Let us know.

I am mostly on desktop, and at certain points (usually when I have watched everything new from my subscriptions) 6/8 of the recommendations on the front page are stuff I have watched earlier. But right now on ios, 5 out of first 30 are things I have seen already.

However, these are from channels that haven't uploaded in a while (The Imaginary Axis, Last week tonight with John Oliver) while the majority of the rest of the recommendations are more than a year old/not relative. At the time I wrote the first tweet, it was worse.

That's odd! Can you file a feedback with these steps: https://goo.gl/WdI0BK ? Thanks!
