I'm trying to move my YouTube account to a brand account so I can add managers. For some reason they are removing my custom URL. Does anyone know if I can get it back after making the change? @TeamYouTubepic.twitter.com/ySeyFbawBO
You can add location information to your Tweets, such as your city or precise location, from the web and via third-party applications. You always have the option to delete your Tweet location history. Learn more
Can we get our custom URL back after it’s released?
Good question! Typically yes, you can get it back. But we do reserve the right to reclaim custom URLs. See the Custom URL terms and Help Center for more info: https://goo.gl/ruFcXC . Hope this clarifies.
I hear of this issue enough & it seems to be a big enough issue that it may be worth noting it in some sort of feature request or something that allows you to transfer your custom URL, choose another, or reclaim it after migration. There's enough people that hold off bc of this
Did this to our main channel at one point (because it’s ran by 2 people) and it ended deleting every comment we had ever made
Just a warning to people who are considering doing this!
