@TeamYouTube I forgot to fill my cat's food bowl yesterday so he set up a YouTube account and filed copyright claims against my videos..... how do I prevent this? What can I do? Why did you let my cat claim my videos without proof of actual ownership?

Thanks for reaching out. If you believe the claim is invalid, you can dispute the claim using these steps: https://goo.gl/fHCa7u . Hope this helps.

Oh are those the steps in which I send a dispute to my cat who is falsely claiming ownership of my video, for him to obviously reject because he's trying to unlawfully steal revenue? And then when I appeal it, he gets to again decide what happens? Hmmm...

Once you file a dispute the claimant has 30 days to respond. In the meantime, you may choose to resolve the issue directly with the claimant. Hope this clarify.
