Is there a way to turn off @YouTube’s auto play thing on the app? I hate that thing.

Thanks for the details. Try these steps: Go to the 'Up Next' section on the video page > Use the toggle at the top of the 'Up Next' section to turn off Autoplay. Hope this helps.
