@TeamYouTube I have a content ID claim on a video. I have full legal rights to use the content (which I can also prove) but if I dispute the claim it gives the “copyright owner” the option to completely remove my video when they don’t even own the content at all, hows that fair?
If you believe the claims are invalid, you can file a dispute by following the steps: https://goo.gl/nBLKu3 . You can learn how content id works here: https://goo.gl/HxzAYR . Hope this helps.

Obviously I am already aware that I can dispute a claim from my first tweet? What I’m trying to establish is why would I dispute it when it risks the video being completely taken down? By someone who DOES NOT own the content at all. How is that a fair policy?
