So why do I keep getting Jordan Peterson videos when I've clicked NOT INTERESTED many times? That should count towards the algorithm's choice of what to show me? I watch ONE video, and those suggestions come up. It should be enough to say not interested once for them to go away.

This is a bullshit answer, YouTube. I had the same Ben Shapiro video show up in my feed after a morning of exclusively listening to music. Obviously the algorithm is being gamed. Take some responsibility for your platform. It affects real people.

What I'd like to know is why the algorithm "forgets" that I've already seen things, and resets them in my "Recommended" section weeks later.
