I got a Youtube copyright claim on a video for a song that's not even in my video. There's a snippet of some Tom Petty on the audio equipment but the claim says that song is something completely different. Sounds like a scam claim. How do I deal with this? @TeamYouTube

It sure would be nice if there was actually a way to dispute a copyright claim for something that is not even in the video. This has been a problem for almost a decade now! Until YT fixes it, you have to click on the Fair Use option and then explain that it's an incorrect match.

but the decision of the claim’s validity is based on whoever claimed it, and they’ll always deny your dispute for money
