@TeamYouTube We're trying to get a custom URL (http://youtube.com/c/liveops )—it's not claimed. How do we get our brand's custom URL without adding characters to "make it unique to us"? Thanks!

Just to confirm, are you getting any error message while claiming a custom URL? Also, here's our Help Center resource on general eligibility requirements for Custom URL and how to claim it: https://goo.gl/ruFcXC . Let us know and we'll look into it!

Yes, in a way—see the image. We understand the guidelines and are eligible but we want to know if there's a way to not add characters to the URL in the image? Desired URL: http://youtube.com/c/Liveops pic.twitter.com/hvKc8QlCuV

Thanks for the info. Mind claiming the same URL from a different device/browser to check if that makes a difference? Keep us posted.

Thanks for the info. There is a chance that the custom URL might be reserved for someone, hence we suggest you try adding a suffix or prefix for the desired custom URL. Keep us posted if it's otherwise.

If we're the brand, who would it possibly be reserved for and wouldn't we get priority? The only other thing I can think of is we changed our Google account name from LiveOps to Liveops a month or so ago... anyway you can give us that URL without adding characters?
