For some reason both the desktop version and Android @YouTube app have lost all of my subscriptions.
I keep getting a RETRY error on the app.
And all but like 3 pf my playlists are gone.

both desktop and android are working fine for me. that's a crazy glitch tho geez. please don't get mad at me: have you tried clearing cache for both yet?

The Youtube desktop was a clean login, no cache to speak of. The app... has no option to clear the cache. I'm going to try uninstalling the updates to see if that helps.

Yeah I found the cache and cleared it, but it didn't help. I uninstalled the updates - nothing, Reinstalled the app - nothing. I restarted my phone - nothing. It was working fine last night.
