That's odd. Could you try resetting the app on your TV? Here's how: Go to Settings > Reset app. Also, try clearing the YouTube browser's cache & cookies on your phone to see if that fixes the issue. Here's how: https://goo.gl/e2dYZt . Keep us posted on how things work.

It's not on the app itself. It's when you open links for example swipping up on instagram stories. And it takes you to http://m.youtube.com via a browser. And they never show ads there.

Thanks for the info. We've checked the URL you've shared and were able to see ads. Could you confirm if this happens with a particular link or all of them? Also, by any chance, do you have 3rd party extensions installed that might block ads? Keep us posted.

It happens with all the youtube links that I open externally that have 'm.' sub to it. Please see the screenshot. It never shows ads through it whatever the video or channel it would be. I do not use any 3rd party apps.pic.twitter.com/p6XsZZB1EU

Hmm, 'http://m.YouTube.com ' is the mobile browser version of YouTube. When directed from a different app, you may or may not see ads on the videos. You can submit a Feedback about the same and our team will take a look: https://goo.gl/1ckkO5
