@YouTube help. Why does every video on my iPad Pro default to 360p and why can’t I force playback to start at highest available resolution?

Okay. So the only other device I have is an iPhone 8. It defaulted to 720p playback on a random video, this was the highest option available for that video. Also noteworthy: on the iPhone it uses the iOS player, and can properly full screen, on the iPad it uses the YouTube player

And will only go to cinema mode, and says full screen is not supported.
