As a viewer, will this make me unable to watch YouTube content from other countries channels outside the EU? Such as America, Japan, etc?

Article 13 in its most extreme form shuts down millions of people from uploading content to platforms like YouTube, meaning you could lose access to videos from your favorite EU creators. Overall, this means less videos and impacts everyone, everywhere:https://goo.gl/ewvv5s

That’s not what they asked. They asked, from the POV of an EU viewer (not a creator), will they be able to watch non-EU videos? (For what it’s worth,
@followthefandom, I think you will be able to, b/c other countries will have diff copyright laws, where YT isn’t directly liable)1 reply 1 retweet 3 likes -

Sorry didn't realize you were in the EU! Yes that’s possible. People in the EU may lose access to content from other countries such as America, Japan, etc. It’s not just videos in the EU.
