Hey @TeamYouTube, we did a livestream tonight with Superchat for good where our audience donated to @LabRescueLRCP but our Canadian viewers couldn’t donate. Is this a limitation of the superchat system? Do charities need to be in the same country as the donators?

Thanks for reaching out. Are your users seeing an error message when trying to donate? Mind sharing screenshots for us to look into it? Keep us posted.

Hi there, we had viewers reaching out to us stating that when they tapped the superchat button it said “not available in your region”

Hmm, currently Super Chat purchases are available in certain countries and not all. This Help Center article covers the list of supported countries: https://goo.gl/NSgWNh . Hope this clarifies!

That makes sense. I have donated to other streamers during their show and I am located in Canada. Just wondering if it’s due to the not-for-profit rules of Superchat for good? It would be great to know which charities can be donated to without restriction. Thanks for your replies!

Super Chat for Good allows eligible U.S.- and Canada-based creators and viewers to support qualifying U.S. non-profit organizations. You can learn more about it here: https://goo.gl/A1cjHt . Hope this helps clarify.
