A few questions. Which device are you on? Does this happen across devices? What error message do you see? Mind sharing a few screenshots for us to look into it? Keep us posted.

I am running Firefox Dev Edition on Windows 10 64 bit. Yes this is happening across devices. It also happens on an iPhone X running 12.1.1 and the latest youtube app. The error message I get is “your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available”

I only get the error on my desktop. On the iPhone is just doesn’t load the video. A clarification I missed earlier. This seems to only happen with live-streams. Normal videos work fine. This is weird because I’ve never encountered this behavior before.

Here is a screenshot of the error on my desktop. https://i.imgur.com/9d1ZoiH.png On my phone it keeps "buffering"/loading the video but never plays. Waited up to 15 seconds on 100mbps internet on the phone

Thanks for the info. Try clearing the cache and cookies of your browser to check if there's any difference. Also, please uninstall and reinstall the app in your iPhone to see if there's any change. Can you also confirm if it's the same when switched networks? Keep us posted.

I already tried clearing cache. Made no difference. Reinstalling the app made no difference. Additionally, changing networks also made no difference (2.4GHz and 5GHz, as well as LTE)
