@TeamYouTube can you monitize on content you provide members though the membership scheme? Or can no ads run on this content ?

Heya - so I know about channel memberships - it’s an opportunity to provide exclusive content to people that join.... but the Article has no info on if you can show ads on the videos you show members . Does that make sense?

Hmm, to clarify, if the specific video in that channel is monetized, the viewer should be able to watch ads. Let us know if you've any other questions.

So for channel memberships - you would post an unlisted video for your members to join. I thought unlisted videos can’t be monitized ? Because you wouldn’t just post a public video to your members - can you clarify

Good question! As long as the video meets our thresholds and eligibility, unlisted/private can still be eligible for monetization. Hope this helps clarify.
