@TeamYouTube so this video of mine has copyright in it and I was wondering if you could help me understand it. I’m a new creator and was hoping this means I don’t have to take my video down:https://youtu.be/v2rMXz251Kk

If you upload a video that is copyright-protected, you could receive a Content ID claim: http://goo.gl/LauR47 . Also, if you get a copyright strike, that means your video has been taken down from YouTube for copyright purposes: https://goo.gl/Tuc9no . Hope this helps!

Ok so I think I understand, basically for this video it will just contain ads that will go to the claimant? No taking down, none of that?pic.twitter.com/Vp62djUClE

You got it! When there is a claim, the claimant's distribution settings are applied and they can choose to block or monetize the video. Here's more: https://goo.gl/UF3gSB
