We'd like to help. If you're using an Android, have you tried uninstalling the app updates > restart the device > uninstall the app updates? Also, if you're using an iOS, try uninstalling the app > restart the device > reinstall the app. Keep us posted.

Uninstalling the updates > restarting the device > updating to newest version worked for me and fixed the issue. That being said, I'd like to bring to your attention a new issue (1/3)

After I followed the process I specified, YouTube's update that was supposed to change the look/layout of the "minimize video" feature (as shown below) did not update as well. I personally prefer the old one (shown below) but this is still technically a bug. (2/3)pic.twitter.com/QP5m6qDCaz

As a reminder, the updated design is actually a bar at the bottom with an "x" to exit out of the video and a pause button. Once again, I prefer the old design, but I just thought I'd share. (3/3)
