@TeamYouTube Can you implement into the algorithm code that gives recommendations an expiry time. That way the same shit doesn't stay in my recommended for months at a time until I watch it. It feels like I'm being held hostage.
You can remove recommended content by selecting "Not interested" on your home page. This influences how YouTube suggests videos to you in the future. Also, you can manage your recommended content better by following the steps in this link: https://goo.gl/D86REh . Thanks.

But there in lies the issue. I would assume that would tell the algorithm that I don't want to watch videos with whatever tags that video has. If that video has tags I would actually be interested in I don't want to flag those tags as "not interested" P1

P2 The video is something I may find similar content interesting if but in a different topic. Ergo I would prefer it expires after it gets recommended a few times and I don't watch it or after a period of time.
