Just a question @TeamYouTube If I see #publicdomain material uploaded to your website that has been #falsely claimed ownership by #fraudulant media ownership company, How can I contact you to report these companies for stealing content from the general public?

The owner of the content or any authorized person can submit a copyright take down if copyright-protected work was posted on YouTube without their authorization. More info: https://goo.gl/HJf7Qd . Also, you can flag the video for review: https://goo.gl/n0WUMW . Hope this helps.

That isn't what they are talking about. People allow their music etc to be used royalty free and then scumbag companies come along and take advantage of your Content ID system to falsely claim videos using the music when they don't even own it themselves.
