@YouTube copyright matched a song. I have a LICENSE to the song. Trying to dispute the match and give the license tells me I can't, because the video ID doesn't match a video that's been disabled or taken down. So I can't do a damn thing about somebody else's ads on my stuff. WTF

Just to confirm, does this happen across devices? Also, if you're using a browser, have you tried clearing the cache and cookies and see how it goes? Keep us posted.

No other device on hand. Error persists following cache clear in Chrome. Finally worked in fresh install of Edge, of all things. Propagation delay, maybe? Now for the actual problem... can I still block ad categories when someone else has claimed my video? I have several blocked.

Hmm, have you checked our Help Center article about "Usage restrictions on claimed music": https://goo.gl/XSRrxC ? Hope this helps.

No help. "Ads may appear" is all it says. It says that whether or not ads appear at all is up to the claimant, but says nothing about whose adsense settings apply. This should be clarified. I don't want homophobic preachers showing up on my channel again by someone else's choice.
