@TeamYouTube you guys never responded, I tweeted to u guys like 2 days ago about my vid being blocked while it was on private mode. Does that mean my vids can still be blocked even on private mode?

Copyright owners can use a system called Content ID to easily identify and manage their content on YouTube. Videos uploaded to YouTube are scanned against a database of files that have been submitted to us by content owners. More info here: https://goo.gl/89898h

Alright gotcha. But say if I have a video that's not copyright, commentary for example, and I decide to private it, would you still be able to strike a video for example if its private?

Yes, while the video is private to viewers, our system still scans all videos uploaded against our database of files! Hope this helps clarify.
