Imagine applying for a job and being told you have to work without pay until your application is really accepted. Then 4 months later you're told they'll need to look at the application even more before you start getting paid and then never getting back to you. Thanks @YTCreators

I understand there's probably thousands of channels being reviewed, and it's not easy, but quietly pushing the application review deadline back 4 months and holding some for longer while claiming to be caught up with now no ETA doesn't seem to be the best method of handling it.

But responses like this are a step in the right direction. Seems to me that the biggest thing creators want is a little more transparency.

I have been waiting for 9 months with my two channels and I haven't even had a reply or any feedback from youtube. Help me applaud them for the "good" work they are doing.

The lack of communication is almost worse than the extra wait. Makes you wonder some some channels were chosen and others weren't. Also makes it hard to stay motivated to upload content when it doesn't seem to make a difference.
