Damn, we just cut cable out of the picture and are trying @YouTubeTV. I’m loving it so far, but one bullshit ass feature I’ve stumbled upon while watching a RECORDED version of Total Recall on @IFC, it forces you to watch ads! So pissed. You pay $40 a month to still watch ads.
Sometimes networks, like IFC, include commercials in movies on their channels. These commercials show up in your DVR, but you can FFWD or skip through them. You can also check all available versions via the video picker. Typically, VOD won't let you skip commercials but DVR will!

Ahhhh, so you can pick the recorded version and still skip the ads. That’s what I wanted to do. Every time I tried to use the video picker and pick my recording tho, it kept going to the VOD version instead of DVR, but now it works. Anyway, crisis averted. Still diggin it!

One other thing, will
@YoutubeTV support Safari on MacOS soon? I’m fine using Firefox for now, but it’d be nice to keep it in my default browser.. - 1 more reply
