Sorry there was no warning! The video player on desktop now automatically adapts to the shape of the page and provides maximum space for the video. This aligns the desktop viewing experience with mobile. You can send official feedback w/ these steps: https://goo.gl/xAwmTv

While there's no way to undo the change, sending feedback via our official feedback tool is the best way to let the team know (as we use that tool to prioritize all requests). We'll also pass along your comments!

mine made the video smaller and the ads large, literally the ads and suggested videos section takes up half of the page
