I have *67* videos in a copyright dispute right now. ALL of them fall under fair use & do not require approval. Can we all clap hands for @TeamYouTube giving 100% power to the claimant, allowing them to creating complete bullshit claims and abuse the system? With bots, I add.
That's why we created a process for uploaders to dispute claims when they're sure they’re protected by fair use or similar laws. Thanks!

I am fully aware of this, but you're not acknowledging that even though you give creators the ability to dispute claims - that doesn't mean anything when it comes to the fact that said company can outright reject the dispute which creates a terrible situation where creators..

..like myself, who are completely sure that they adhere to copyright law, are at risk of getting a strike if disputing the rejection. What happens then? How does YouTube ensure that this company isn't abusing copyright tools? Because I'm telling you with absolute certainty..
