I find myself thinking about when part of FF13's design direction was supposedly to appeal to the west's FPS-leaning market, and then they were surprised by how popular the traditional RPG of Bravely Default was. Yosuke Matsuda came after BD's release, and he is clearly a twat.

Twitter is dissolving from the inside because a manchild raised wants to control the world. Facebook leaking money because Apple told them to stop spying on everyone with ads. It would be really nice if this was the end of the social media era.

I found an avatar scaling thing for VRChat. I can be a big dragon again. ... unfortunately it seems to break gesture expressions, not sure if I might need to investigate that more.

You honestly have to wonder if the port and translation was handled by some poorly paid crunch-wrecked B-team, just to get the game out on modern consoles and with an english release to satisfy the ~icky foreigners~.

who not only have to do all the strenuous work that comes with editing text on pseudo-realistic CGs and the like, but also now have to fix an absolutely baffling lot of game-breaking bugs in the latest CHN port.

Absolutely baffling, the state of Chaos;Head Noah's latest port. ... almost makes you wonder if you'd be better off importing the 360 or PS4 version and patching that.

GOPHER still exists. and Usenet. IRC too, because how else would Twitch work. ICQ got bought by Russians but it's still out there, same for LiveJournal. RSS never went away (ask podcasts) but no one engages with it for posts anymore. Only 2.0 disappears, 1.0 has just faded.
